Details, details...

Prom is tomorrow night and here are a few things you need to know. It's a little lengthy, please read it anyway so you there are no surprises once you get to the dance ;)

We do not issue paper tickets. When you registered, you should have received an email acknowledgment, and if you paid via PayPal you should have received an acknowledgment from them as well. There will be a check-in table near the entry of the venue, you must stop by there when you arrive. If someone else purchased your ticket and you did not submit a registration form, you will be required to do that at the check-in desk before entering the dance. The first 130 guests through the door will receive a prom memento.

The doors open at 6:30! The dance starts at 7, but you can come early to have your photos taken by our photographer or take your own using our photo booth props, out on the terrace, or under the arbor.

If you didn't read the information on your registration form, please read the information and faqs pages on our website. We do have a dress code, so please make sure your clothing is in adherence to it. We also have behavior guidelines, please familiarize yourself with those as well.

We will not be serving any food containing nuts/peanuts, HOWEVER, some of the items may have been prepared in a facility with nuts/peanuts, and there will items that CONTAIN nuts/peanuts on site, and those items are individually packaged.

Parents that drive their children are welcome to come in and have a look around and take photos at the beginning of the evening, but we do respectfully ask that you limit your time at the venue to 5-10 minutes. We will have adult chaperones and security will be provided by the Greensboro Police Department. Please arrive back at the venue in time to pick your children up at 11pm.

Directions to the Venue: Coming from the SOUTH (Hwy. 220 from Asheboro, Hwy. 421 from Sanford), EAST (1-40/1- 85 from Burlington, Durham or Raleigh, Hwy. 70 from Burlington), WEST (1-40 from Winston Salem or Asheville, 1-85 from High Point or Charlotte, Wendover Avenue from High Point), or NORTH (Hwy. 29 from Reidsville or Danville) follow signs to Hwy. 220 North. Coming from different directions you will be directed different ways through or around town. From Wendover Avenue north of town, Hwy. 220 North is called Battleground Avenue. Follow Battleground A venue through the intersection where the road name to the left is called Horse Pen Creek Road and to the right it is called Old Battleground Road (approximately 5.8 miles from Wendover Avenue). Continue north on Battleground Avenue through the next stop light (there is a school on your left and apartments on your right at that light but it isn't really an intersection). Take a right at the next stop light which is Owls Roost Road (you can only take a right at that light). Take your first left which is Bur-Mil Club Road (you can only take a left at that point) and you're in the park. The Bur-Mil Family Aquatic Center is on your left at that intersection.

From the NORTH (Hwy. 220 from Martinsville), after going through the Strawberry Road stop light and over the Lake Brandt spillway, take a left at the next stop light onto Owls Roost Road (you can only take a left at that intersection). Take your first left which is Bur-Mil Club Road (you can only take a left at that point) and you're in the park. The Bur-Mil Family Aquatic Center is on your left at that intersection. Follow the signs directing you to the parking area further down, and on the left.

Look for the balloons at the corner of Battleground Avenue and Owl's Roost, at Bur-Mil Club Road, and the parking lot to mark your turns.
