What does "Fly Me to the Moon" mean?
The theme, Fly Me to the Moon, is our take on the song, (you can hear it here) and 1960s Las Vegas. Style and class, reminiscent of the "Rat Pack", (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop, and Peter Lawford).
What will happen at the prom?
You can dance, grab something to eat from our "lounge" and you can also play a game or two of poker or blackjack..but only for bragging rights. You will also vote for your choice of charity (St. Jude Children's Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, or Family Room) and we will donate some of our proceeds from the evening to the winning charity. Where do I register?
You may submit your registration form here.
(link to purchase tickets appears after registration form is submitted and registration isn't complete until tickets are purchased. You may pay through paypal or send a check made out to: Tracey Norman at 3523 Charing Cross Rd., Greensboro, NC 27455)
If something comes up and I cannot attend, can I get a refund?
No, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Please email us to let us know if you cannot attend and to whom you transferred your ticket. If you have no one to transfer it to, let us know and we will try to help you find someone.
Are parents permitted to stay?
Parents are welcome to come in to have a look at the venue, and maybe take a few photos. We respectfully request that you limit your time inside to 5-10 minutes.
What kind of music will be played and may I make requests?
We will include a variety of musical genres. You may make requests until January 31 here, and NO requests will be taken during the dance.
Will there be a professional photographer?
Yes, our photographer, Crystal Patterson (see her facebook business page here) will be on-site from 6:30p - 9p taking photographs. Digital images are included in the ticket price and will be uploaded to our site where you may download them. There will also be photobooth props where you and your friends may take your own photos.
Will there be food and beverages?
Yes, we will have a variety of light savory and sweet foods, as well as lemonade and water.
